Our media is triple-washed and chemically inert, ensuring it doesn’t leach impurities into your water. The sharp, angular grains of our silica sand provide superior trapping of fine silt and organic matter, resulting in lower pressure drops and longer filtration cycles between backwashes.

• Effective Sizes: 4mm – 0.8mm (Fine Sand), 1.0mm – 2.0mm (Coarse Sand), 6mm – 12mm (Support Gravel), 12mm – 25mm (Base Gravel).

Process Description

Water enters the top of the vessel and percolates through layers of increasingly fine media. The Gravel base supports the bed and ensures even flow distribution, while the Sand layers trap silt, mud, and organic matter through physical straining.
